Another good Balsam Bash today mostly on Mill Island but also opposite the Community Orchard.
Still lots to do, of course, but everyone really enjoyed the activity and satisfaction you get from gently pulling the roots up….nice.!
If you are free for an hour, we shall be impressing the Northwest in Bloom judges as they walk past the orchard and willow circle. Just downstream of the railway bridge. More sessions after that will be needed too. Long sleeves, long trousers, hat, gloves and good shoes or boots are recommended .
