Visit to local National Garden Scheme garden in Barbridge

Our proposed summer visit is to a local National Garden Scheme garden. Details are as follows:

The Firs, Old Chester Road, Barbridge. CW5 6AY                   

 2pm. Wednesday 8th July 2026

This is a very interesting large canal-side garden with a variety of trees, shrubs, herbaceous beds and some wild areas, all leading down to an observatory, a Japanese Torii gate, with views across the fields.  This is the last year that the owners will be opening to the public as they intend to move. If you have not previously visited this incredible garden do come along, it is guaranteed to delight. There is wheelchair access to the main areas and lawns, unless the lawns are wet/soft. Toilet facilities are available. Allergies to gluten and lactose will be catered for.

The cost of visit the is £12.50 per person, it includes entry and refreshments.
