Fostering Community Spirit

We work closely with and have received support from a number of public and volentary organisations in the town.

Nantwich Town Council   Nantwich Town Council operates from Nantwich Civic Hall and its staff and 15 Councillors are constantly striving to make the town a better place to live and to work.

Cheshire East County Council Nantwich is in the county of Cheshire East. They are responsible for services and planning in the town.

Civic Voice    Civic Voice is the national charity for the civic movement in England. We make places more attractive, enjoyable and distinctive. We promote civic pride.

Nantwich Partnership. The Nantwich Partnership is a fully constituted group that has been established for the purpose of attracting substantial inward investment into Nantwich town. Funds received by the Nantwich Partnership may be held by partner organisations depending upon bids made, e.g. Nantwich Civic Society, Cheshire East Council, etc. Funds will be ringfenced and any decisions with regard to spend will only be made and authorised by the Nantwich Partnership.

Nantwich Museum   The Museum can be found on Pillory Street (opposite the pillory) and near to the heart of the historic market town. We use their meeting rooms for our events.

Rotary Club of Nantwich   The ‘Nantwich’ club is a ‘lunch time’ club meeting on a Tuesday and visiting Rotarians are most welcome, as are those wishing to know more about the Rotary organisation or become members. The club works with us on many projects.

Sustainable Nantwich Sustainable Nantwich is a volunteer-led network based in Nantwich, which aims to advance local action in response to the three main planetary crises that humanity currently faces: climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss.

Nantwich Litter group. Nantwich Litter Group is a well-established group of volunteers who come together to clean their local areas. They organise their own litter picks, set their own priorities and work totally independent of the Council.  These groups of volunteers are armed with safety equipment and litter picking equipment.

Nantwich in Bloom. Established some 35 years ago, Nantwich In Bloom is a local not-for-profit organisation meeting at regular intervals, to ensure the town has the best possible floral displays which have a year-round appeal. Nantwich has a fine reputation as one of the leading market towns in Britain for its beautiful floral displays and has regularly won RHS awards.
